Located in the heart of downtown, Portland Art Museum is internationally renowned for exciting art experiences. On free admission days, our community gets open access to one of our city’s top attractions along with special activities.
Portland Art Museum Free Admission Day
On Sunday, February 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Portland Art Museum is offering free admission.
You’ll get access to the entire museum, including the current special exhibition Black Artists of Oregon and Africa Fashion and the museum’s permanent collections exhibition Throughlines.
- 10–11 a.m. Artist talk with Natalie Ball.
- 11 a.m.–12 p.m. Artist talk with Bukola Koiki.
- 12:30–1 p.m. Rejoice! Diaspora Dance Theater performs a dance excerpt from their spring show.
- 2–3:30 p.m. In Our Weave: Africa Fashion and Black Artists of Oregon in conversation.
Free admission tickets can be reserved online in advance starting January 28. Tickets will also be available at the door for walk-in visitors.
Another way to get free admission to the museum is through Bank of America’s Museums on Us program. You can also get two free tickets from the Multnomah County Library Discovery Pass. Children 17 and under always receive free admission along with veterans and active-duty military.
