Celebrate Portland’s new holiday in the heart of downtown.
503 Day Block Party, named after the city’s area code, is a festive way to show love for our city.
Here’s what to expect at this event:
503 Day Block Party in Downtown Portland
On Saturday, May 3, head downtown for a day celebrating all things Portland at Ankeny Alley. The event is from 1 to 6:03 p.m., exactly five hours and three minutes.
Activities:
- Live music from local bands.
- Karaoke From Hell, Portland’s iconic live-band karaoke group, features surprise local celebrity performers.
- Drag performances bring high energy to the stage.
- An appearance by Dillon T. Pickle, Portland’s favorite sports mascot.
- Contests, giveaways and surprise activities.
- Food and drink options from local vendors, food carts and Ankeny Alley businesses.
- At 5:03 p.m., don’t miss the official proclamation declaring 503 Day an official Portland holiday.
This event is free to attend. The first 100 attendees receive a free 503 Day tote bag filled with swag.
Ankeny Alley is at 221 Southwest Ankeny St. in Portland.
