Ever wanted to be part of a Bollywood musical? Head to Shute Park this week for an interactive Bollywood dance party.
The event is hosted by Mumbai native, DJ Prashant, an ex-Intel engineer turned DJ who founded his own dance company and tours nightclubs across the U.S.
Here’s how you can join in on the fun at one of DJ Prashant’s events.
Free Bollywood Party at Shute Park
On Thursday, June 23, head to Shute Park in Hillsboro for a free Bollywood dance party. From 6:30-8:30 p.m., join the all ages celebration at this interactive event.
At the party, you will be led in synchronized dance moves to a music set by DJ Prashant. Bring your friends and family for a night of dancing to an irresistible blend of dance beats.
Chalk artist Raziah Roushan and Tualatin Valley Creates will be onsite creating chalk artwork inspired by Bollywood music.
There will be food vendors onsite. You are also welcome to bring your own dinner.
This event is open to all ages and free to attend. There will be a mobility mat to make getting onto the park lawn easier for those with wheelchairs and assistive devices.
