As the new normal begins to set in, we are starting to see businesses take to the virtual world to connect with their communities. One of the coolest things about this virtual experiment is we’ll be able to watch live shows from anywhere without leaving the comfort of your home.
Capitol City Theater in Salem is hosting a free virtual comedy show featuring three local stand up comedians. After their sets, the comics will do a live talkback where they interact live with the comment section.
There is no admission to view the show. If you are feeling generous, you can donate to the venue on Venmo @CapitolCityTheater.
The show will stream live on the comedy club’s Facebook page. This show will have mature content and is meant for adults only.
The free virtual comedy show is taking place on Friday, March 20 from 8-9 p.m. The theater said this will be hosted every Friday night. I will update this post as soon as this is confirmed.
