2025 El Sol Festival

Celebrate the start of summer at El Sol Festival, a three-day event filled with music, dance, food and fun. 

Opened in 2000, M&M Marketplace has 80 independent businesses selling a wide variety of products. The market also brings the community together for fun events throughout the year. 

Get ready to kick off the new season this weekend:

2025 El Sol Festival

The El Sol Festival is June 20-22, 2025, at M&M Marketplace in Hillsboro. Hours are 5-8 p.m. on Friday, 12-4:30 p.m. on Saturday and 12-6 p.m. on Sunday. 

The event features global dance, music and food and product vendors in a fun, outdoor environment. Come to dance, eat, shop and soak up the sun.

Friday, June 20

Celebrate the first day of summer with lively Latin beats and dancing under the stars.

5-5:30 p.m.

DJ Noops kicks off the event with some upbeat tones

5:30-6 p.m.

Cumbia dance lessons by Lines Dance Studio

6-8 p.m.

Cumbia dance party with Neri Rodriguez y Los Cumbiamberos

Saturday, June 21

Experience dance and music from around the world. 

12–12:45 p.m.

Traditional Chinese dance by Chinese Friends Association of Portland

1–1:45 p.m.

Stunning Indian classical dance and Bollywood by Rhythm Dance Academy.

2–2:20 p.m.

White Lotus Lion Dance

2:30—3:10 p.m.

Irish dance performance by An Daire Academy of Irish Dance

3:30–4:30 p.m.

Tito Amaya y Su Grupo Latitudes Andean music and Nueva Trova

Sunday, June 22
