~~Get ready to take flight into fun! The 26th annual Hillsboro Airport Block Party brings together free community entertainment, music, food and aviation activities.~~

~~For the aviation enthusiasts in your family, this is a special opportunity to go behind the scenes at Hillsboro Airport.~~

~~Here’s what is in store at this year’s event:~~

2025 Hillsboro Airport Block Party

~~Join the celebration on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hillsboro Airport. There’s a full schedule of fun, free events:~~

Behind-the-Scenes Guided Bus Tour

~~One of the most popular attractions is the Behind-the-Scenes Guided Bus Tour of the airport and airfield, running from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.~~

Once inside the event, you can sign up for a time slot. Led by Port of Portland guides, the tour includes fun aviation facts, insights into local economic growth, and a peek at the airport’s role in career development and community partnerships.

Music and Entertainment

~~The Block Party’s main stage features DJ Aloso, spinning family-friendly beats throughout the day between live performances by:~~

~~11 a.m.-noon Barrio Mestizo~~
~~1-2 p.m. Sherrie Davis & Global Fusion~~

Fun for All Ages

There’s free face painting, activities in the Flip Museum and hands-on fun scattered throughout the event. Families can also enjoy exploring aircraft displays, learning about aviation programs for youth and meeting local community partners.
