Want to taste the baking talents of your fellow community members? The Neighborhood Microbakery Tour is coming to the Beaverton and Aloha area.
The free, self-guided event celebrates the art of small-batch, homemade baking and the passionate people behind it.
Here’s how you can participate:
Neighborhood Microbakery Tour
The Neighborhood Microbakery Tour is Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to attend.
The tour kicks off at Treefell Farm, 5210 SW 184th Ave., where you’ll pick up your map and begin your journey to local microbakeries.
Eight talented home bakers are opening their doors to share their homemade goods. Each stop along the self-guided route offers a chance to meet the baker, sample their creations and purchase fresh, handcrafted baked goods.
A Chance to Win Big
As you make your way through the tour, collect signatures from each participating bakery. Once your map is complete, return it to Treefell Farm to be entered into a drawing for a grand prize gift basket with more than $150 worth of homemade goodies from all the bakers.
No purchases are necessary to enter the drawing.
Every participating baker operates legally under Oregon’s Cottage Food laws or in licensed domestic kitchens, and all hold valid food handler’s cards.
