Portland Parks and Recreation offers so many fun programs at their community centers and parks throughout the city. Since their facilities and gathering places are temporarily closed, the city department is looking for new ways to engage with our community.
Portland Parks and Recreation has launched Stay and Play, a video series with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The videos are made by Portland Parks and Recreation staff to bring your favorite programs directly to your home. The series is hosted on their Youtube channel so you can tune in whenever it is most convenient for you.
All of the content in the video series is free and open to everyone. So far, they have shared kid-friendly exercise classes, singalongs, games and crafts.
All of the videos highlight activities that can easily be done from home with the spaces and materials you have readily available.
Programs included in the video series:
- Performing arts
- Preschool
- Visual arts
- Nature
- Sports
- Fitness
- Swimming
All of this awesome content is available on the Portland Parks and Recreation Youtube channel.
