This monthly event invites the community to come together and share goods.
Here are the details:
Really Really Free Market in Scappoose
The concept of these events is simple: everything is free. Anyone is welcome to join, whether you have items to give away or just want to shop.
There are no trades and no money exchanged. Just free items for anyone who attends.
Items at the free market may include clothes, books, food, games, toys, tools, toiletries and more. If you’re bringing goods, don’t forget a blanket, table or tarp to display your items.
Plus, the sharing doesn’t stop at just tangible items. Community members can offer how-to demonstrations, kid’s activities, clothes mending, bike repair or entertainment.
Don’t forget to bring along a bag or box for any items you find to take home.
Participants are asked to take home all leftover materials and ensure any items offered for free are in working order and clean.
