Get ready for a scoop of excitement as the beloved ice cream shop Salt & Straw opens its new location in Vancouver.

Since 2011, Salt & Straw has been churning small batch, handmade ice cream featuring local ingredients. The ice cream shop currently has five locations in the Portland area and will soon have one more to add to its list. 

The shops have interesting signature flavors, like olive oil and honey lavender. There’s also many classics along with new limited edition flavors every month that keep customers coming back for more.

On Friday, January 5, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., indulge in a day filled with delicious treats, surprises and fun at the Salt & Straw Vancouver Grand Opening.

At the grand opening, you’ll have the chance to enjoy scoops of their beloved classics and featured flavors of the month. Whether you’re a fan of the timeless chocolate and vanilla or eager to try something new and exciting, there’s a scoop for everyone.

What’s a celebration without some sweet surprises? Be the first in line and treat yourself to free hot chocolate courtesy of Cloudforest. 

Joining in on the festivities is a special guest Oswald the Penguin from Clark College. 

The new Salt & Straw scoop shop is conveniently along the new Vancouver waterfront. With its picturesque surroundings, it’s the ideal spot to enjoy a scoop of ice cream while taking in the beautiful waterfront views.

The new Salt & Straw location is at 740 Waterfront Way in Vancouver, Washington.
