Snowvana: Portland’s Winter Sports Festival

Join the celebration of winter at Snowvana! The Northwest’s largest gear sale and ski swap is taking over the expo center with many unique experiences for snow sports lovers.

Here are the details about the 2025 event. 

2025 Snowvana: Portland’s Winter Sports Festival

Snowvana is taking place October 24-26, 2025. This is your chance to save big on gear and lift tickets while also partaking in a film festival and snow-themed activities.

Gear Sale and Vendors

The gear sale offers up to 70% off equipment. Browse 25,000 square feet of skis, boards, boots, apparel and accessories. 

In addition, more than ski and snowboard brands are attending the event to showcase their new products. 

This event brings together all of the best ski resorts in Oregon along with regional and international resorts at Snowvana. Stop by their booths for discounts on lift tickets, pick up free stickers and swag, and buy your season pass.

Activities

Keep the fun rolling with all the activities at Snowvana. Watch the world’s best ski and snowboard films at the film festival, sip on a selection of craft beers and spirits, enjoy live music from local artists, and partake in fun contests and entertainment.

Snowvana is a kid-friendly event with lots of activities designed with little ones in mind with indoor skiing, skateboarding and biking. There’s a learn-to-ski ramp, sled dog education center and giant ski chair selfie station. 

Schedule and Tickets

Here’s the 2025 Snowvana schedule:

• Friday, October 24 from 12-8 p.m. (early access from 12-1 p.m.)
• Saturday, October 25 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Sunday, October 26 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Tickets for Snowvana are $18.50 per person, plus processing fees. A three-day pass is $36, plus processing fees. Kids 12 and younger attend for free.

You can also get early entry to the swap on October 24, 12 to 1 p.m. for $25, plus processing fees.

Box Office Deals (at the event):

• 2-for-1 tickets for Toyota owners by showing your keys.
• 2-for-1 tickets for Ikon Passholders by flashing pass or receipt.
• 2-for-1 Happy Hour on Friday from 4-8 p.m. only tickets.

Your tickets also get you access to free lift tickets, discounts and more. 

The Portland Expo Center is located at 2060 North Marine Drive in Portland. Do keep in mind parking at the expo center is $15 per vehicle. Plan to ride together if you’re attending with friends or take the MAX, which drops you offer within walking distance.
