Knick-knacks. Doodads. Treasures. Whatever you call the decor items that bring you joy, here’s your chance to give some and find new ones at the Tchotchke Swap at Kindred.
The downtown Vancouver business is a low-waste, bulk refillery for your home and personal care needs. You bring your own containers and fill them up with a variety of household goods. In addition to bulk products, the local shop sells low-waste and sustainably made home goods, secondhand and vintage items, and locally made artwork.
This shop also hosts a ton of events throughout the month. Here are the details about the weekend swap:
2025 Tchotchke Swap at Kindred
The Tchotchke Swap is Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kindred in Vancouver.
Bring items you no longer want to the swap and find a new treasure or two to take home with you. Think collectable items, extras you don’t need and decor.
This event invites the community to come together, swap and participate in a trade and gift economy.
Here are a few important event details:
- Swap home decor items. No large items.
- If you don’t have anything to bring, you can still join the fun. Feel free to peruse and take what you want.
Kindred is at 2213 Main St. in Vancouver. For more information, visit the shop’s website.
