The Fear PDX Haunted House: Portland’s Largest Halloween Event

One of Portland’s longest-running haunted attractions is back for its 15th Halloween season. The Fear PDX Haunted House opens September 26 with 13 haunted attractions in one location, including five full haunted houses, five scare zones and three mini-haunts.

The event runs on select nights through November 7, giving you plenty of chances to visit before or after Halloween. Ticket prices vary by date, so choosing an earlier or less-busy night can help keep the cost down.

The Fear PDX Haunted House Attractions

Admission to The Fear PDX includes 13 attractions for the 2026 season. The main event is made up of five themed haunted houses:

• Sector 13 Alien Terror: A secret research facility where captured alien lifeforms are no longer contained.
• The Mansion: A decaying mansion filled with restless spirits.
• Ancient Evil: A swamp-themed haunt packed with creatures, insects and overgrown ruins.
• Laugh Factory: An abandoned factory overtaken by sinister clowns.
• Slaughter: A featured haunted house joining the 2026 lineup.

Your ticket also includes five scare zones spread throughout the attraction: Midway of Fear, Within the Woods, Undead End, Poison Apple Festival and Rotten Pulp.

Three smaller haunts round out the included attractions: The Oni Curse Bamboo Maze, The Pumpkin Path and Caged. The Oni is new for 2026. Additional experiences are available for an extra charge.

The Fear PDX is a non-contact haunt. Actors do not grab, push or intentionally separate guests from their groups.

The Fear PDX 2026 Schedule

The Fear PDX Haunted House is open on select nights from September 26 through November 7. Hours vary depending on the date.

7-10:30 p.m.

• September 26
• October 2, 3, 26, 28 and 29

7-9:30 p.m.

• October 11, 14, 15, 19, 21 and 22
• November 2, 6 and 7

7 p.m.-midnight

• October 9, 10, 16, 23, 30 and 31

6-10:30 p.m.

• October 18 and 25
• November 1

6 p.m.-midnight

• October 17 and 24

Tickets

General admission tickets start at $32.99. Prices vary by night, with standard admission currently starting at $32.99-$39.99 depending on the date. General Admission Flex tickets start at $37.99, while VIP Anytime Admission starts at $57.99.

The Fear PDX recommends buying tickets online in advance. The 2026 ticketing system lets guests change, upgrade or reschedule eligible tickets online, and the attraction says there are no online purchasing fees this year.

For the lowest admission price, look at September 26 or select Sunday, Monday and Wednesday dates, when general admission currently starts at $32.99.

What to Know Before You Go

The Fear PDX is not recommended for children younger than 14. Guests should also expect strobe lights, fog, loud audio, low visibility, moving floors and other intense effects. The attraction advises pregnant guests and people with certain medical conditions that could be aggravated by the experience not to enter.

Costumes are allowed, but guests cannot wear masks or bring costume weapons that resemble real weapons.

Free onsite parking is available. The main haunted houses are indoors, although some scare zones and transitions are outdoors, so dressing for Portland’s October weather is a good idea.
