Beer lovers, mark your calendars! Zwickelmania returns, offering craft beer enthusiasts a unique behind-the-scenes look at the state’s vibrant brewing scene.
Organized by The Oregon Brewers Guild, this annual celebration brings together more than 50 breweries from across the state, inviting Oregonians to explore new brews, meet the makers and enjoy special tastings—all for free!
Here’s how you can join the fun in and around Portland.
Celebrate Oregon Craft Beer at Zwickelmania
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Portland breweries host special events and activities during Zwickelmania.
What is Zwickelmania? Named after the “zwickel,” a sample port on fermentation vessels, Zwickelmania offers attendees the chance to taste beers directly from the source, learn about the brewing process and discover exclusive releases. In addition, there are many fun activities for beer lovers and everyone in between.
Here are the activities at participating breweries in the Portland area:
Free Shuttle
Hop on the free shuttle bus visiting more than a dozen NE/SE breweries. Stops include:

Anniversary Celebrations
The 12th anniversary StormBreaker Brewing celebration includes a tour, special pours and deals, games, and more.
Also, Migration Brewing is celebrating its 16th anniversary with an Upright Brewing and Threshold Brewing beer collaboration.
Tours and Giveaways
Lucky Lab hosts tours sharing tidbits of its 30 year history as well as Deschutes Portland brewhouse offering tours and taste pub exclusives.
Brews, Tunes and Food Specials
Woman-owned Leikam Brewing spins records with Tasha from Second Chance Records.
Along with a special cask beer, Montavilla Brew Works has music.
Gluten-free brewery Ground Breaker invites patrons to vote on an upcoming seasonal beer, enter a drawing and enjoy food from Salvi ODX.
Old Town Brewing and Hopworks have pizza and beer pairings. The newest pFriem location in Milwaukie has small bites paired with each featured beer.
Gigantic features live music along with food from Flying Fish.
Explore Outside Portland
Take a drive to these breweries outside Portland for these specials:
- In Tigard, Cooper Mountain Ale Works serves chef special bites to pair with flights of winter seasonals.
- In Beaverton, Binary Brewing offers samples from beers currently in production while educating attendees about recipe creation.
- Crooked Creek in St. Helens is giving away koozies and offering food and beer specials.
- In Gresham, Krauski’s Brewskis offers tours and samples as well as live music from 6-9 p.m.
