Looking for live music in Portland that won’t completely drain your wallet? AMP Music Festival returns to the Star Theater September 11–12 for two nights of local and touring musicians, with tickets starting at just $25 and proceeds supporting youth experiencing homelessness.
The festival brings together a strong lineup of Portland musicians and touring acts for a weekend celebrating the city’s music scene—and you can enjoy it while supporting a good cause, too.
Here are the details about this year’s event.
2026 AMP Music Festival
AMP PDX
Friday night features Is This Real?, a Wipers tribute featuring two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Matt Cameron of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. The lineup also includes Jenny Don’t and the Spurs and Portland musician Pete Krebs.
Saturday brings another full night of music with Grolixes, Triple Lutz, The Mistons, Ogre and Altar Girl.
If you’re looking for an affordable Portland concert, Saturday’s $25 ticket is an especially budget-friendly way to catch a full night of live music. You can also get a weekend pass for $100 if you want to see both nights, which comes with the added perks of an AMP t-shirt and limited edition event poster by Wokeface included in the price of the ticket.

Support a Good Cause
AMP Fest is more than a weekend of live music. Proceeds from the festival benefit youth experiencing homelessness, giving concertgoers a chance to enjoy a night out while supporting an important local cause.
And at $25 for Saturday night, it’s a particularly good option if you’re looking for cheap things to do in Portland this weekend.
