Get ready to don your lederhosen and raise your steins. Bethany Village Oktoberfest is just around the corner.

This September, Bethany Village Centre transforms into a lively celebration of German culture, complete with all the festive flair you’d expect from a traditional Oktoberfest.

Bethany Village Oktoberfest

The 2024 Bethany Village Oktoberfest is Saturday, September 7, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly event. 

Here are the activities planned for this year’s event:

Live music: Enjoy the upbeat tunes of Z Musikmakers, who will be setting the perfect Oktoberfest mood with their lively German music throughout the day.

Big beer tent: What’s an Oktoberfest without beer? Head over to the big beer tent to sample a variety of brews, from classic German lagers to local craft beers. Prost!

German cuisine: Feast on delicious German fare, including bratwursts, pretzels, and more. Whether you’re a foodie or just hungry for something tasty, the culinary offerings are sure to please.

Stein holding competition: Test your strength and endurance in the classic Stein Holding Competition at 2 p.m. Hold a full beer stein with a straight arm for as long as you can—whoever lasts the longest wins a prize!

Performances: Be captivated by the Tirolean Dancers of Oregon during their performance at 3:15 p.m. Their traditional dances will add an authentic touch to the festivities.

Kids’ activities: This is a family-friendly event! From pony rides to other fun activities, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy the festivities.

Local vendors: Explore a variety of local vendors showcasing unique products. It’s a great opportunity to support local businesses and maybe find a few treasures to take home.

Admission to Bethany Village Oktoberfest is free, so gather your family and friends and come join the fun.
