Ready for a new-to-you wardrobe? Swap your old clothes at the Biggest Clothing Swap in the Northwest.

If you’re looking to freshen up your wardrobe, get rid of some old clothes and practice sustainability, head to this event at the Crystal Ballroom.

Here’s how you can participate in this upcoming event:

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 12-3 p.m, head to the Crystal Ballroom and explore two floors open to secondhand swappers trading up their unwanted clothes.

On the third floor, the main swap area on the third floor has sections sorted into non-binary categories, shoes and accessories. Lola’s Room on the second floor hosts a plus-size swap with more shoes and accessories.

Here’s how it works. You’ll bring a bag of clothing with you to the event, hand it off to a sorter who quickly categorizes your clothes into sections (pants, dresses, sweaters, etc). Once your bag is returned, you’re free to peruse the tables and fill your bag with as much as you find.

All clothing you bring with you must be clean and wearable with no holes or odors. No underwear, socks/hosiery, bras or children’s clothing.

The swap itself is based on the honor system. You’ll bring home as much as you brought in, using the bag you came with. You can bring more than one bag. Make sure your bag is sturdy enough to last the whole swap. Hot tip: IKEA blue bags are great for a clothing swap.

I have attended this event every year and I highly recommend it. Typically, I find at least three items to add to my wardrobe and I feel good knowing my old clothes are getting a second life. I recommend wearing leggings and a tank top so you can easily try on items.

Did someone say mimosas?! To make this event even more fun, there is a bar in the main swap area. DJ Gregarious will also be at the event spinning the clothing swap’s soundtrack.

Admission

Cost of admission is one bag of clothing to swap as well as an entrance fee of $11 in advance. If you don’t bring a bag of clothes to swap, you can buy an empty bag for $5 at the event.

I highly recommend buying your ticket in advance. The last event I attended sold out.
