Black Lives Matter events have been taking place all across Portland. From vigils to rallies to marches, there are many ways for Portlanders to get involved. If you’d like to participate in an upcoming event, here is a great calendar of events happening throughout the city.
PDX Black Lives Matter Events website features gatherings happening across the Portland metro area. The site has an easy to navigate calendar with event listings for all ages. Many events include opportunities to listen, learn and stand in solidarity with your neighbors, friends and the Portland Black and people of color communities.
The site also features ways for families and youth to get involved. Each event has a full description with all the details on how and where to participate.
If you’re hosting a Black Lives Matter event in your neighborhood, you can also add your event to the calendar to help spread the word.
Due to the pandemic, I have to include a safety note. Please be prepared with masks, sanitizer and any other supplies you need to remain safe in public.
