The Canby Drive In is hosting Halloween movies on the big screen. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds is being transformed into an old school drive in with a 60-foot movie screen for guests to enjoy not one, but two films.
On Friday, October 9, the drive in will show Hocus Pocus and The Goonies. You’ll be able to watch the movies from the comfort of your car and listen through FM channel 88.1 on your car radio.
The show starts at 7:15 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. Canby Cinema 8 will be selling popcorn, soda, icees, candy, and other goodies. You are also welcome to bring in your own snacks.
Tickets are $25 per car. This is the cheapest drive in experience I’ve seen in the Portland metro this year. This ticket price includes both movies for the double feature event. The online ticketing page does include at $1.50 booking fee.
Vehicle spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. If you want a space near the front, plan on getting there early.
The Clackamas County Fairgrounds is located at 694 NE 4th Ave. in Canby.
