Veterans Day Weekend Train Ride on the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad
In honor of Veterans Day, Chelatchie Prairie Railroad is offering a special deal for those who served our country. On November 11 and 12, hop aboard for an unforgettable train ride through picturesque landscapes.
The journey begins at the Yacolt station, where the 1941 Alco diesel engine will set the wheels in motion. Passengers will enjoy the scenic views from one of two cabooses or the comfortable coach car. The train will traverse through a 330-foot solid rock tunnel, creating an immersive experience for all aboard.
The journey includes a stop at Moulton Station, providing passengers with a chance to explore the beautiful surroundings and visit Yacolt Falls. It’s an ideal time to stretch your legs, take in the fresh air and appreciate the natural wonders of the area.
