Support your favorite local restaurants on Cinco de Mayo! 

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, Portland area restaurants are serving up food specials to go. The restaurants listed below have announced pre-order specials with limited quantities available. Place your order early to ensure you get one of these awesome taco kits or Mexican-inspired meals. 

I have also included restaurants serving margaritas to go for $9 or less. However you choose to celebrate, this is a great excuse to support your favorite Mexican restaurant by placing an order on May 5.

Cinco de Mayo Food Specials To Go

¿Por Qué No? Taqueria

Order ceviche, special taco kits and margaritas. Choose Oaxacan or Por Qué No’s classic ceviche options. Taco kits feed 4-6 people and include your choice of two pint-sized fillings (braised pork, shredded chicken, beef barbacoa, pork carnitas, pollo verde, or seasonal veggies), one quart of beans and rice, 15 handmade corn tortillas and toppings of cilantro and onion, salsa verde, salsa de arbol, crema, and queso fresco. Prices vary 

Quantities are limited. Place your order today for pickup from 1-6 p.m. on May 5 at the Mississippi Ave. location.

Rally Pizza

The Vancouver restaurant is mixing up special beverage and food options for May 5. Items include:

• $10 premixed margaritas and palomas for two. 
• $10 homemade jalapeño cheese sticks with avocado-tomatillo salsa and lime.
• $10 pizza of the day with chile rojo tomato sauce, mozzarella, queso cotija, and oregano. A vegan option is available.

Quantities are limited. Preorders are now open for curbside pickup on May 5.

Taco Pedaler

Get a build your own taco kit including 15 tacos and serve five people for $50. Choose from chicken, beef, pork or pinto bean. Served with chips and salsa. Other options include a five burrito kit and margarita kit. Choose “Family Kits” on the online ordering page. Order for pickup or delivery. To preorder, email tacopedaler@gmail.com.

Margaritas To Go for $9 or less

Cha Cha Cha

The local Mexican restaurant chain has a great variety of margaritas, including classic, mango, tamarind, pomegranate and more. Cha Cha Cha has five locations throughout the Portland area. Choose carryout, delivery or outdoor dining. Margaritas are $9 each.

Nayar Taqueria

Choose between classic, blueberry lemonade or magic margarita for $8.95. You can get two cocktails per each substantial food order.

Tamale Boy

Tamale Boy makes its margaritas with Lunazul Reposado Tequila, lemon and lime juice, housemade triple sec and simple syrup,  on the rocks. Get a mason jar containing two margaritas for $13. Available with meal purchase only. 

The Matador

The two Portland locations are serving house margaritas of Lunazul Blanco 100% agave tequila, triple sec, lime, lemon, agave. Available for carry out for $9.
