Portland Wind Symphony presents “Sounds of the Season”

This cheery program includes timeless band literature, as well as music for the season: “Rocky Point Holiday”, by Nelson; “Fantasia on the ‘Dargason’, from Holst Second Suite in F; Suite from “The Nutcracker”, by Tchaikovsky; “Wexford Carol”, Irish traditional….and lots more!   Members of the Gresham HS band will join the ensemble for “Sleigh Ride”, by Leroy Anderson.  The concert will be conducted by PWS members.
