Beat the winter blues with Italian soup
Now that the holidays are over, we are entering an event lull in the Portland area. Koi Pond Cellars is here to fill that void—and your stomach—with free dinner Fridays.
Koi Pond Cellars is located in the heart of Ridgefield, Wash., wine country, about a 20 minute drive from Portland. In January, the winery is hosting three free dinner Fridays at its scenic vineyard.
Buy one bottle of wine and get two free meals of soup, salad and a bread stick. Meals are first come, first serve. The dinners start at 5 pm.
Here are the three events in January:
Jan. 12 Zuppa Toscana
Jan. 19 Pasta Fagioli
Jan. 26 Tuscan White Bean Soup
