Krispy Kreme is going small with the new permanent addition to its doughnut case.
Mini Doughnuts have arrived just in time to help customers keep their New Year’s resolutions. Many diet plans include a “cheat day” and the new Original Glazed Mini doughnuts are the perfect, sweet treat at less than 100 calories each.
The new doughnuts are mini versions of the chain’s four most popular doughnuts: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles.
They may be small, but Krispy Kreme is launching them in a big way with its “Mini Mondays.”
Every Monday in January, the shop will host a mini “happy hour” from 4 to 7 p.m. at participating locations — customers get a free Mini Doughnut of their choice.
Set reminders for January 6, 13, 20 and 27. Here are the participating stores in the Portland area:
