Festa Italiana Pioneer Courthouse Square, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. all three days
Celebration of all things Italian. Food, wine, beer, entertainment.
Friday
Sing-along Frozen Laurelhurst Park, 6:30 p.m.
Movies in the Park features the animated film Frozen, but it’s the sing-along version. Bring your low chairs, blankets, picnics and blast your neighbors with your rendition of “Let it Go.” FREE popcorn and music entertainment by the band Manimals begins at 6:30. Film begins at dusk.
Cheer Hood-to-Coast Runners Likely after dark
The annual Hood-to-Coast Relay begins Friday at Mount Hood; by Friday evening the first runners will be seen winding their way through Portland, en route to Seaside. The 12,600 runners will run along the east bank of the Willamette, cross the Hawthorne Bridge and make their way up the west bank of the river before heading coastward on Hwy. 30.
Sunday
What’s It Worth? Oregon Historical Society, noon to 4 p.m.
New exhibit opens with on-site antique appraisers. Exhibit is free for Multnomah County residents, but if you want to bring a treasure from your attic to be appraised, it will cost you $10 per item.
Monday
OBT Exposed Pioneer Courthouse Square, 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Watch Oregon Ballet Theatre rehearsals and join in on free classes for kids and adults. Events are scheduled every day through Thursday. Check OBT’s website for the daily schedule.
