Tuesday, October 27, 2026 | 5 to 8 p.m.
Downtown Beaverton’s Halloween-week festivities continue with Viva la Vida, a Día de los Muertos celebration at Fiesta on First.
Unlike Halloween, Día de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition centered on remembering and honoring loved ones who have died. This community celebration brings that tradition to downtown Beaverton through music, food, art and a shared ofrenda.
Visitors can enjoy live music, local vendors and free face painting. There are also a couple of limited-quantity freebies:
Free pan de muerto: The first 170 guests can receive traditional sweet bread from Good Cakes Bakery.
Free cempasúchil drinks: Contento Coffee is providing complimentary marigold-inspired drinks for the first 90 guests.
A community ofrenda, or altar, will be available October 27 through November 2. Visitors are welcome to bring a photo of a loved one to honor their memory.
