Celebrate art, literature, and nature at the Portland Audubon’s Wild Arts Festival.
For 42 years, the festival has brought together nature lovers to discover one-of-a-kind nature-inspired artwork and books.
This event supports the Portland Audubon’s mission to inspire people to love and protect birds, wildlife, and the natural environment upon which life depends. Here are the details about the 2022 event.
Portland Audubon’s Wild Arts Festival
Portland Audubon’s Wild Arts Festival is December 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 80 regional artists and authors will gather to celebrate the beauty of the natural world.
Find a piece of art for your home or a gift for your loved one. Artwork includes painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodwork, textile, ceramic, and blown glass created by 60 local artists.
Meet some of the best local and regional authors specializing in nature, birds, hiking, history, books for kids based in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. You can buy the books and have them signed by the authors on both days of the festival from noon to 4 p.m. Here’s the author schedule.
There is also a silent auction with more than 100 retail items, artwork, vacations and experiences you can bid on.
Tickets
Tickets are $10 per person online with a $3.50 service charge. Tickets will also be available at the door. Kids age 12 and under attend for free.
The festival is held at Portland State University’s Viking Pavilion, 930 SW Hall St. in Portland. For more information and to buy tickets, visit the Wild Arts Festival website.
