Office Depot and OfficeMax are making it easy with this special event right in time for tax season.
Here’s how you can get your documents shredded for free.
Free Paper Shredding at Office Depot or OfficeMax
Now through March 29, 2025, bring in up to five pounds of documents for free in-store shredding service at Office Depot or OfficeMax stores.
All that is required is paying the tax, in states where sale taxes apply. In Oregon, this service should be free.
To redeem this deal, present the appropriate coupon web page to a cashier.
Limit one coupon per household or business.
What items are accepted?
Office Depot and OfficeMax make shredding convenient. No need to remove staples, paper clips, rubber bands or small binders.
Here are a list of items to consider shredding:
- Clean paper (any size)
- Blueprints
- Newspapers
- Magazines
- Brochures
- Photographs
- File folders
Materials not accepted include cardboard, telephone books, hard cover books, plastics, batteries, electronic hardware, metals, biohazardous and medical waste.
