Take the stress out of paying for parking and finding a designated driver. Here’s how you can claim this discount.

Discount Ride Home during St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

From Friday, March 14-Monday, March 17, get up to $20 off a taxi fare with a paper coupon or $10 off an Uber or Lyft ride with a promo code for rides. This deal is valid on rides starting in Portland city limits, while supplies last.

Hours when this service is available include: 

• Friday, March 14, 2025 6pm to 2:30am
• Saturday, March 15, 2025 6pm to 2:30am
• Sunday, March 16, 2025 6:00pm to 2:30am
• Monday, March 17, 2025 6:00pm to 2:30am

Here’s how you can get each of these discounts: 

Lyft and Uber

The $10 off codes for Lyft and Uber rides are available starting March 14. You can access the codes on the City of Portland’s website. 

Taxi Coupons 

Also, you can get paper coupons for up to $20 off a taxi trip. All you have to do is ask staff for the coupon at participating locations:

Kells Portland Irish Festival on the waterfront March 14-17. 

Paddy’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival on March 17. 

Ride TriMet

Keep in mind, public transportation is also available. Hop on Portland Streetcar, MAX or a TriMet bus.
