For more than 100 years, the Portland Rose Festival has been a beloved celebration of our beautiful city. The festival has tons of free and cheap activities your whole family can enjoy.
For three weeks, CityFair takes over the Portland waterfront with all your favorite fair features. Here’s how you can get free admission to this attraction.
Free Admission to Portland Rose Festival’s CityFair
At CityFair, you get access to a full festival of activities. Enjoy carnival rides, fair foods, interactive exhibits, and live entertainment on five stages.
The price of CityFair admission is $12 online and $15 at the gate. Kids age 6 and under get in for free with an adult. CityFair weekends include May 26-29, June 2-4 and June 9-11. Hours are 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the exception of May 26, which is 5-10 p.m.
Here’s how you can get in to CityFair for free:
Free Fridays
On Fridays, May 26, June 2 and June 9, you get free admission to CityFair. Bring the coupon found in Portland Tribune and other Pamplin Media Group community newspapers to any CityFair gate. Here is a link to the coupon.
Free Franz Friday
On Friday, June 9, show proof of purchase of any Franz product at the CityFair box office to receive one free admission ticket.
Veterans and Military
Veterans and service members get in for free with proper identification.
Capital One Café Day
On Saturday, May 27, Capital One cardholders and one guest get free admission. Show your Capital One card at any CityFair gate.
CityFair takes place at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. Don’t miss out on all the Rose Festival free and cheap events.
