Nothing says spring quite like a fresh bouquet of tulips. Holland America Flowers is here to brighten up your home with locally-grown flowers available at its self-serve cooler.
Holland America Flower Gardens started when Benno and Klazina immigrated from Holland with their three children and some beloved tulip bulbs. The family settled in Woodland, Washington, and started their flower farm. Today, the farm has a beautiful free tulip field in the spring and a serve-serve tulip cooler.
Here’s how you can get your hands on a bouquet.

Take a short drive to Woodland, Washington, for an inexpensive bouquet of flowers. The flowers are packaged into 10-stem bunches and come in a variety of colors.
When you pull into the parking lot, you’ll see the self-serve tulip cooler at the front of the building.
The cost is $5 per bouquet. There is a money slot next to the cooler where you can pay with cash only.
Last spring, I picked some beautiful dark purple tulips from the cooler. They were just starting to open and were the centerpiece of my kitchen for a week. I had never paid only $5 for fresh, quality flowers.
After picking out a bouquet, visit Lilac Days at Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens.
The cooler is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Holland America Flower Gardens is located at 1066 S. Pekin Road in Woodland, Washington. The cooler is open during Mother’s Day week. Be sure to check the gardens’ Facebook page for updates.
