HSSW All You Need is Love Adoption Special

Want to add a new pet to your life in 2023? Humane Society of Southwest Washington is hosting an adoption special this weekend.

Each year, HSSW provides thousands of pets with shelter, medical care, behavior support, and a second chance at a happy life. The local humane society also offers adoption specials throughout the year to help pets find their forever homes.

Here’s the adoption special taking place this week. 

HSSW New Year New Pet Adoption Special

Celebrate the new year with a new furry family member. From February 17-19, HSSW adoption fees are waived on all pets age 6 months and older. 

Your adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip ID and national registration, select vaccinations, and coupons for treats and toys.

Animal licenses are required at the time of adoption and are not included in adoption fees. Licensing fees vary by county. For Multnomah County, it is $15 for cats and $27 for dogs. 

For small pets, make sure you bring a carrier with you. The shelter also has carriers you can buy. 

HSSW is open noon to 6 p.m. The shelter is located at 1100 NE 192nd Ave. in Vancouver. For more information and to view available cats, visit Humane Society of Southwest Washington’s website.
