Legendary Makers Market: A Celebration of Asian American Heritage
Legendary Makers Market is November 3-4, 2023, from 4 to 11 p.m. The market hosts a fusion of Asian American heritage through an array of mediums: from delectable cuisines and artisanal crafts to media, music and wellness practices.
What to Expect
This event has gathered more than 125 participating vendors and partners offering an immersive experience that captures the essence and diversity of the Asian American community.
One of the main highlights of the market is a curated film screenings. Notable AAPI filmmakers and special appearances by Mike Truong from All the Homies Network, Luann Algoso, the creative mind behind Gabby Smashes Web Series, Anchitta Noowong sharing their stories and experiences through the cinematic medium. These screenings are $5 each and seating is limited.
Also, don’t miss the Wellness Refuge, a haven for rejuvenation and self-care. Expect yoga sessions, acupuncture, massages, and more, all thoughtfully coordinated by wellness experts providing a sanctuary for visitors to revitalize body and mind.
Art enthusiasts will find solace in the art activities planned for the event. A’misa Chiu will lead a community zine building project, fostering collaborative creativity, while artists Alex Chiu and Rebecca Nguyen will unveil entrance mural art.
