Here’s what you can expect at the event:
2025 Northwest Fossil Fest
The fossil fest is Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free, family friendly event offers informative displays, demonstrations, lectures and educational fun for children.
Here are the activities at the festival:
- Lectures on paleontology.
- Exhibits with a variety of specimens.
- Activities and free fossils for children.
- Bring fossils for identification help.
- Fossil preparation demonstration to learn how professionals clean and prepare specimens.
The event is held at Tualatin Heritage Center, 8700 SW Sweek Drive in Tualatin. Admission is free.
