On Wednesdays, Oaks Park offers a discount on roller skating. The cost is $6 and includes a conventional skate rental. The discount is available during the evening Open Skate Session from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Here’s how you can score this deal. When you get to the roller skating rink, mention the weekly Facebook Cheapskate password posted to the Oaks Park Facebook page.
Oaks Park is one of the only roller skating rinks in Portland. On any regular day, a roller skate session costs $7.50 for general admission and $2-$4 for skate rentals. During Oaks Park roller skate night, you’ll save upwards of $5.50 per person.
Also, parking at Oaks Park is free, except during special annual events. And you don’t have to buy a ticket to get through the gates.
