Celebrate Argentine culture at the Portland Argentinian Festival.
The festival is hosted by a local community of Argentinians who are dedicated to preserving culture, customs and traditions for all the enjoy.
Here’s what you can expect at the upcoming event.
Portland Argentinian Festival
The Portland Argentinian Festival is Saturday, October 18, from 12-8 p.m. Indulge in delicious food, enjoy talented musicians and dancers, and learn about Argentine culture through immersive and engaging activities.
The event has workshops to teach you something new. Learn how to make a proper mate drink, explore Argentinian comics, play the card game Truco and explore the cultural theatre. There are also food and craft vendors, exhibits and a photo booth along with performances and dance.
Main Stage Schedule
Enjoy a full afternoon of performances, including:
- 12:10pm Huayra Lucas, Argentinian folklore guitarist and singer
- 12:45pm Folklore Argentino
- 1:15pm Tango Dance
- 2:00pm Ciao Felicia, Tango Band
- 3:45pm DJ Zeke
- 4:45pm Folklore Argentino – Dance
- 5:15pm Josefina del Norte, singer
- 6:30pm Verde Stereo, Soda Stereo and Enanitos Verdes Tribute
Tickets
The festival is $10 for adults 18+, $5 for seniors 65+ and kids attend for free. Tickets are available at the door.
