Celebrate Argentine culture at the Portland Argentinian Festival.
The festival is hosted by a local community of Argentinians who are dedicated to preserving culture, customs and traditions for all the enjoy.
Here’s what you can expect at the upcoming event.
2023 Portland Argentinian Festival
The Portland Argentinian Festival is Saturday, October 7, from 12-7 p.m. Indulge in delicious local Argentine food, enjoy talented musicians and dancers, and learn about Argentine culture through immersive and engaging activities.
The art exhibit showcases the beauty of Argentine art. The kids corner has lots of fun family activities. Performances include Argentinian folklore dance, tango, a DJ, rock and more.
The event has workshops to teach you something new. Learn how to make a proper mate drink, explore the history of Argentine rock and roll, discover local slang, and dive into the world of Mafalda, the iconic 60s character that influenced Argentina for decades.
The festival is $10 for adults 18+, $5 for seniors 65+ and kids attend for free.
