Since 1982, Portland Columbia Symphony has been a staple of Multnomah County’s arts scene. The symphony brings together 62 paid musicians to perform classical series for audiences in Portland and Gresham.
This Sunday, the symphony is hosting a free concert for everyone to enjoy.
Portland Columbia Symphony Free Concert
Portland Columbia Symphony’s Stage & Screen in the Park is Sunday, August 14 at 4 p.m. The concert is free to attend.
Pack a picnic and a blanket and celebrate the start of the symphony’s season with music by Sondheim, Gershwin, Bernstein and more.
You can reserve your free tickets online before the event. This lets you arrive as early as 2:30 p.m. to choose your spot in the grass and set up your chairs or blanket.
Walk-ups are also welcome starting at 3:30 p.m., depending on space availability.
The concert is taking place at Nadaka Nature Park at 17615 NE Glisan St. in Gresham.
