Portland offers a host of New Year’s Eve events. Restaurants join in on the fun by pulling out all the stops to celebrate the end of the year. Find your ideal New Year’s Eve dining from this compiled list of tasty options.

Portland Restaurants Open on New Year’s Eve
Abigail Hall
Abigail Hall is open 5 p.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve with cocktails, champagne by the glass, lobster rolls, oysters & caviar, plus a DJ and ball drop countdown.
Abigail Hall is at 813 SW Alder Street in Portland.
Black Angus Steakhouse
Black Angus Steakhouse in Vancouver is open on New Year’s Eve from noon to 10 p.m.
Black Angus is located at 415 East 13th St. in Vancouver.
Brix Tavern
On New Year’s Eve, Brix Tavern is serving a 4-course dinner served from 5 to 11 p.m. for $65 a person. There’s also a DJ and dance party starting from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m., which includes late night appetizers for $35.
This event is taking place at Brix Tavern’s Tualatin location, 8187 Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road.
Chart House
Dine in with a special New Year’s Eve menu at Chart House from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant is also open on January 1 from 3 to 9 p.m.

Denny’s
Denny’s is open for regular hours on New Year’s Eve and Day. Check your nearest location before visiting.
Dirty Lettuce
The plant based Southern eats restaurant is serving a special NYW dinner for two for $60. Get six pieces of our crispy fried chicken, with healthy portions of Hoppin John, Pot Likker soup, Mac n Cheese, Cornbread, and Creamy Banana Pudding. It is available for pickup on December 31 from 3-6 p.m.

Elmer’s
All local Elmer’s locations are open on New Year’s Eve and Day. Hours vary by location so be sure you check the hours at your nearest location before you visit.
Fogo de Chao
The Portland location will be serving meals from 11 a.m. to midnight on New Year’s Eve and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
You can also opt for a holiday to-go packages for six people starting at $180. All orders require at least 24-hour notice. This holiday meal is available through January 1, 2024.

Golden Valley Brewery*
The Golden Valley Brewery Beaverton location is open from 4 to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve with a list of special plates, celebratory cocktails and fine wines to help you usher the new year in with style.

McCormick & Schmick’s
On New Year’s Eve, McCormick & Schmick’s is featuring a pre fixe menu starting at $50 per person from 12 to 9 p.m.

The downtown steakhouse is open from 4 to 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and 4 to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
