The popular downtown market is back featuring more than 150 booths filled with handcrafted goods. In operation since 1974, the weekly marketplace has gained national recognition as the largest continuously operating open-air arts and crafts market in the country.

2024 Portland Saturday Market

The 2024 Portland Saturday Market is held March 2 through December 22. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

If you love supporting local small businesses, the Portland Saturday Market is a great place to shop. All items at the market are handcrafted and sold by the Pacific Northwest makers. That means when you visit a booth, you get the unique opportunity to meet with artists. You’ll often see pieces being made right in the booths.

Did you know each vendor has their goods reviewed by a panel of Portland Saturday Market members? This process assures that all items on display meet the market’s standards of quality and hand craftsmanship.

Parking and Transportation

If you park in one of the nearby SmartPark garages, you can get your parking validated when you spend $25 on items at the market. Also, if you ride MAX light rail train or TriMet bus to the event, you can receive a free ticket home when you buy $25 worth of items from vendors.
