Explore local arts, crafts, food and performers at Portland Saturday Market.
The popular downtown market is back featuring more than 250 booths filled with handcrafted goods. In operation since 1974, the weekly marketplace has gained national recognition as the largest continuously operating open-air arts and crafts market in the country.
If you love supporting local small businesses, the Portland Saturday Market is a great place to shop. All items at the market are handcrafted and sold by the Pacific Northwest makers. That means when you visit a booth, you get the unique opportunity to meet with artists. You’ll often see pieces being made right in the booths.
Did you know each vendor has their goods reviewed by a panel of Portland Saturday Market members? This process assures that all items on display meet the market’s standards of quality and hand craftsmanship.
Here are the categories of goods you’ll find:
- Clothing and accessories
- A food court full of drinks, snacks and meals.
- Health and wellness items
- Home goods
- Packaged goods
- Pet toys and accessories
- A wide range of visual arts.
On top of that, there are local performers filling the market with music and entertainment.
The market is open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is a weekly event that takes place through December.
Portland Saturday Market is free to attend. The event takes place in the Old Town district at 2 SW Naito Parkway Portland. For more information, visit the Portland Saturday Market website.
