Calling all vinyl lovers, collectors and music fans! Celebrate independent record stores on Record Store Day. Portland’s beloved record store, Music Millennium, has deals all day long.
Music Millennium has been a staple of the Kerns neighborhood since 1969. It also holds the title of oldest record store in the Pacific Northwest. For more than 30 years, the music store has shown appreciation for community support by hosting special events throughout the year.
Here’s how you can participate in this year’s record event.
2026 Record Store Day at Music Millennium
On Saturday, April 18, Music Millennium celebrates Record Store Day with an early open at 8 a.m. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just getting into vinyl, this is a day you won’t want to miss.
This year’s event is packed with exclusive perks and limited-edition finds, including:
More than 350 limited vinyl releases available.
Free poster and gift bags for the first 300 visitors.
Complimentary coffee and muffins for early birds starting at 6:30 a.m.
Doorbuster deals throughout the store.
This event attracts a lot of Portlanders to the iconic music shop. Be sure to get there early and be prepared to join in the fun with your fellow community record lovers.
