Link up at the Ridgefield Sausage Festival July 8 and 9.
The annual family-friendly event features food vendors, a bier garden, live entertainment, shopping, and kids’ activities.
Food options include sausages available in mild or spicy, boiled or grilled, smoked and grilled chicken, loaded baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and pretzels. Kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult receive a free meal, including a hot dog, chips, and a root beer.
Wayne Havrelly will perform from 4-8:30 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, The One-Eyed Cats perform 12:30-4:30 p.m. and Jack Diesel & The Hangovers take the stage from 4:30-8:30 p.m.
Admission is $13 and includes entry, a commemorative glass and one beverage. Non-drinkers and kids ages 13-20 pay $5. Kids 12 and under attend for free.
The Ridgefield Sausage Festival is Friday, July 8, from 3-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 9, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
