November is a special month for fiber enthusiasts in Portland, Oregon. That’s when the beloved Sacred Sheep event returns, a celebration of all things fiber, artistry and community.
Organized by the talented team at Ritual Dyes, a local dye studio, Sacred Sheep offers a weekend packed with local maker vendors, hands-on classes, meetups and food.

2025 Sacred Sheep: Portland’s Fiber Art Celebration
Sacred Sheep is November 15-16, 2025, at The Redd. The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Sacred Sheep hosts a dynamic marketplace featuring 36 fiber vendors from across the region, each bringing a unique spin on fiber arts, including yarn, fabrics, tools and accessories. It’s the perfect place to find handmade pieces, meet the makers and experience the creativity within Portland’s artisan community.
Ritual Dyes has crafted Sacred Sheep to be an inclusive space, welcoming enthusiasts of all backgrounds. From informative meet-ups to casual hangouts, the event atmosphere fosters a sense of togetherness.
Food Trucks and Outdoor Fun
This year, the outdoor area will be bustling with meetups and food trucks, serving up a mix of delicious, local options to keep you fueled for a full day of browsing, creating and connecting.
Classes for All Levels
Interested in taking your fiber knowledge to the next level? Sacred Sheep has several exciting classes to explore. For an additional fee, attendees can sign up for workshops ranging from knitwear techniques to design theory. It’s an excellent way to learn something new or deepen your skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Meet Ups
During select times, there are special meet ups with local knitting guilds, knit influencers and fellow attendees. There’s also a community tent where you can spend time sitting and making together.
Ticket Information
General admission tickets are $22, giving you access to the full event lineup, including the marketplace and outdoor festivities. Classes can be purchases separately. You will choose a time slot for when you’ll arrive the event.
