SCRAP Creative Reuse Portland is a nonprofit that inspires creative reuse and environmental sustainability through educational programs and affordable materials for the community.
Each week, the local shop is hosting Crafternoon. Here are the details about the upcoming events.
Crafternoon Events at SCRAP PDX
Spend your afternoon making special crafts from reused materials at SCRAP PDX. Crafternoon is a self-guided, themed craft activity held on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m.
Each event features a different craft project, like seasonal decor, mini race carts, dioramas, paper marbling and unusual material challenges.
All supplies will be included and events are family friendly. Attendees can make and take home as many creations as they want.
Here are the upcoming dates and themes:
- September 22: Tiny tin tableaus
- September 29: Halloween decorations
Tickets
Online tickets are $10-$12 per person plus fees and $12 at the door.
Tickets are available in person, but are subject to capacity limits. Scrap PDX encourages participants to buy tickets in advance. If this ticket price is not in your budget, there is also a sliding scale option.
