How to Get Tickets to the Savannah Bananas in Oregon
First, let’s go over Banana Ball and the league of teams who play this version of baseball.
What is Banana Ball?
Banana Ball is baseball turned upside down—a mix of athleticism, comedy and entertainment.
The Savannah Bananas lead the league, joined by the Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns. Together, these teams put on some of the most entertaining games you’ll ever see.
Banana Ball Rules
These teams compete with each other to their own set of rules that blend fun and competition. Every rule is designed to keep fans on their toes and laughter in the stands.
Here are the few of the rules:
- Every inning counts: Each inning is worth one point. Whoever scores more runs that inning, wins the inning.
- Time limit: Games last only two hours.
- Step out, strike out: If the hitter steps out of the box, it’s a strike.
- No bunting: Bunt and you’re ejected from the game.
- Steal first base: Yes, a hitter can steal even during a wild pitch.
- No walks: Ball four becomes a full-team sprint while every defensive player on the field must touch the ball before it becomes live.
- No mound visits.
- Fans can make outs: Catch a foul ball in the stands? That’s an out!
- No ties: Games go into a one-on-one showdown tiebreaker.
- Challenge rule: Each team gets one prop-based challenge to a play per game.
- Wild card hitter: Once per game, any hitter can bat in any spot.

How the Ticket Lottery Works
Tickets for Banana Ball games are $35–$40 each with no hidden fees or taxes. Purchases are limited to five tickets per person and are only available through the official ticket lottery system.
To enter for your chance to win tickets, submit the online lottery form between October 9 and October 31, 2025. It is free to enter the lottery. On the form, you choose your preferred game location.
After the lottery closes, a random drawing determines who will have the opportunity to purchase tickets. Also, entry timing doesn’t affect your chances, yet popular locations will close after a certain number of people enter for that preferred game location.
A drawing takes place about two months before the game. If you name is drawn, you’re given a limited window of time to buy tickets. Yet, keep in mind, you still might not get any.
