Sunday Parkways, when certain city thoroughfares are closed to all but pedestrian and bicycle traffic, returns Sunday, June 22, this time to North Portland. The 9.5-mile route will be automobile-free from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a route that includes Willamette Boulevard and a number of parks, including Peninsula, Arbor Lodge, Kenton, Columbia Annex and McCoy.

In July, Sunday Parkways will move to Northeast Portland on July 27.
