Unique Markets Pop Up Features 125 Local Makers

Support Portland’s independent brands at the Unique Markets pop up event.

Find one-of-a-kind goods for loved ones or treat yourself to something special. This May market is featuring 125 of Portland’s best emerging brands, makers, designers and artists. 

Additional markets taking place this weekend include Flea Market at Kindred Homestead Supply and St. Johns Bizarre.

Unique Markets Pop Up

Unique Markets event is May 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Items for sale include accessories, clothing, jewelry, apothecary products, home goods, gifts, food items and everything in between. Plus, all of the vendors are small business creators. You’ll find unique goods for gifts or yourself while supporting local. 

The event also features lots of freebies and perks. Here are the complimentary goods, activities and other discounts at the May event: 

• Get a free limited edition tote bag.
• Enjoy free drinks  including Coopers Hall new 2023 Rosé, nonalcoholic beer from Best Day Brewing and Yerba Mate.
• DIY crafts and hands-on projects.
• Take photos and get free prints in the Smirk photo booths.
• Play free 90s-inspired Arcade games.
• Hang with the kids at the family fun zone.

Tickets are sold online in advance and at the door. Tickets online are $12 with an additional processing fee online and are also for sale at the door. Kids 14 and under get free entrance to the event.

The market is taking place at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N Winning Way in Portland. Garage parking at the Rose Quarter is available at a discounted rate of $10 per day for Unique Markets’ guests.
