The St. Johns Bizarre is back! Get ready for a dynamite lineup of musicians, artisans, makers, creators, food vendors and community groups at the May event.
Now in its 14th year, the community celebration kicks off the summer street fair season in Portland.
Here are the details about the 2023 event.
2023 St. Johns Bizarre
On Saturday, May 13, the St. Johns Bizarre takes over the streets in the beloved neighborhood for a day of music, art, food and fun for all ages. Explore local vendors, several stages of music and performances, food trucks, and games and activities.
The St. Johns Parade is also taking place the same day at noon along Lombard Street.
The event hosts more than 125 local vendors selling an array of handmade art and craft items, including jewelry and clothing, home goods, photography, and painting. There are also numerous food vendors.
The music lineup includes:
- Open Mike Eagle
- Eyelids
- J. Graves
- Layperson
- Roman Norfleet & Be Present Art Group
- Rayon
- Gata Galáctica
- Lo Fives
- Cruise Control
For adults, there is the Occidental Brewing Company beer garden with cider and wine provided by 45th Parallel Wines.
The bizarre is taking place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the heart of St. Johns, N Lombard St. and N Philadelphia Ave. in Portland.
