Get ready for a dynamite lineup of musicians, artisans, makers, creators, food vendors and community groups at the St. Johns Bizarre.
Now in its 17th year, the community celebration kicks off the summer street fair season in Portland.
Here are the details about the 2026 event.
2026 St. Johns Bizarre
On Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the bizarre takes over the streets in the beloved neighborhood for a day of music, art, food and fun for all ages. Explore local vendors, two stages of music and performances, food trucks, and games and activities.
The St. Johns Parade is also taking place the same day at noon along Lombard Street.
The event hosts more than 200 local vendors selling an array of handmade art and craft items, including jewelry and clothing, home goods, photography, and painting. There are also numerous food vendors.
For adults, there is a beer garden.
There are two entertainment stages at the event: the Plaza stage and John Street stage.

Family fun showcase – 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The Barbaras – 3:15 p.m.

Alan Sparhawk Solo Band – 7 p.m.
John Street stage
N. John between Lombard and Kellogg.
Megalith showcase:

- Muted Theory – 11 a.m.
DJ Ayatollah – 12 p.m.
greaterkind – 2 p.m.
A Beat Happening presents Omie (performing between bands) – 2:45 – 7 p.m.
High Glow – 3:15 p.m.
Abronia – 4:30 p.m.
Chibia – 5:45 p.m.
Black Shelton and the American Dream – 7 p.m.
The bizarre takes place in the heart of St. Johns, N Lombard St. and N Philadelphia Ave. in Portland.
