Celebrate our local Arab American culture at the Arab Mahrajan Festival.
The event is hosted by the Arab American Cultural Center of Oregon. The organization was founded to promote the richness and beauty of Arab culture through community events, festivals and family entertainment year round.
Here are the details about the 2024 event.
2024 Arab Mahrajan Festival
The Arab Mahrajan Festival is Sunday, September 1, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oaks Park.
The Mahrajan is a space for everyone to learn about, engage and celebrate the Arab community’s culture and heritage.
Here are some of the highlights of the festival:
- Delicious cuisine
- Bazaar
- Music
- Dance
- Poetry
- Clothing
- Arts and crafts
- Children’s activities
- Cultural booths
- Henna
Admission to the Arab Mahrajan is free and the event is open to all.
Oaks Park is at 7805 SE Oaks Park Way in Portland. Parking is $5. While you’re there, enjoy the Free Carousel and Train Rides and the Oaks Park Roller Rink, which is $13 per person.
