The Belmont Street Fair is back this year and bringing the community together to celebrate local creators, musicians, performers and chefs.
One of my favorite summertime activities in Portland is attending the totally free, family-friendly and fun neighborhood street fairs. If you’re new to Portland or haven’t explored the city in a while, this is a great way to get out there and see what another neighborhood have to offer.
2023 Belmont Street Fair
The Belmont Street Fair is one of Portland’s largest annual street fairs. In its 27th year, the event takes over five blocks of Southeast Belmont Street from Southeast 33rd and Se Cesar Chavez Blvd. Lining the street will be are large variety of food and retail vendors, performers, and activities for all ages.
These events are a great place to do some early Christmas shopping, find one-of-a-kind goods and enjoy some of the city’s best street food.
The street fair also has a lineup of performances on two stages. Here’s the schedule:

The Belmont Street Fair is taking place Saturday, September 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the Belmont District website.
